Hello friends! Wazzup! Geline is back in the house yo! Anyway, I'm here to talk about what's up with me this Christmas season. The last event for Jzone this year is going to happen this week, and that's the Christmas party! Of course, I'm still part of the preparations, and I know this is going to be work again for me. I need to recruit ushers, plan ideas for the games, etc. etc. Phil. 4:13!:) A decision to be part of the events team is one thing I didn't regret because I know I'm doing work that's worth it in the long run, and to actively work with people who share the same heart as I do is something really special to me.
One of the things I've been meaning to do this year is to share the gospel to a friend. It's one of the goals that I want to have as long as I live, to share to at least one person a year. Yesterday, I talked to a friend of mine I met recently and out of the blue, I suddenly had the urge to ask him if he knows where he's going if he died. He wasn't sure. The conversation went on and he asked me to explain to him the next time we meet (this was an OL conversation btw). Anyway, I told him he needs to hear this ASAP. I remembered what one of the elders said about the "sense of urgency" upon sharing the gospel. And maybe that's what I felt during that time. We can't delay anymore because time is running out. And now I'm praying that God will tug his heart, and also to prepare me with what I'm about to share to this person.
Pasko na naman meeehn. Shucks. I remembered when I was little and I always looked forward to Christmas especially when I see one of those commercials that show how many days are left before Dec. 25! I feel so kilig-ed every time because I know it's a time where all of us get together and eat delicious food and just get together and be happy. Haaaay. :-3
I hope this year's Christmas is a happy one for you guys as well. I'm really happy. This year was a blast and I learned a lot of things and I'm making myself better for Him each year. :)
